Ride Through the Storm

The sun had barely risen when I clipped into my pedals. The road ahead shimmered with the promise of miles and silence, the kind only cyclists understand. But not today. The wind was fierce, howling through the open stretch, pushing me sideways like it wanted me off the saddle. Every gust felt like a challenge to my balance and my will. I used to dread days like this—when the road was less about speed and more about survival. Until I found Rocksteady Blue — Revoray Shield . The first time I slid it on, I noticed the difference instantly. It wasn’t just gear; it was a barrier. A shield that hugged close yet never restricted, channeling the wind so it passed over me instead of through me. I didn’t have to fight the gusts anymore—I could lean into them, knowing the Shield held steady. Halfway through my ride, the skies broke. Rain pelted the asphalt, slick and unforgiving. Normally, I’d tense up, waiting for the slip. But the Revoray Shield kept me locked in, like it was reading the road ...

Bicycle Hand Signals

Bicycle hand signals are a crucial communication tool for cyclists on the road. By using hand signals, cyclists can communicate their intentions and movements to other road users, particularly drivers, in a clear and effective way. The use of bicycle hand signals helps to promote safety on the road, as it reduces the likelihood of accidents and helps to create a more predictable environment for all road users. For example, when a cyclist signals a left turn, drivers behind them are made aware of their intention to turn and can adjust their driving accordingly. Similarly, when a cyclist signals a stop, drivers are aware that they need to slow down and give the cyclist enough space. Here are some of the most common bicycle hand signals and their explanations:

Around The City

I always ride my bike here at The Tent, but sometimes it's boring just to ride around here. On these occasions, I sometimes do a city loop, the route is short about 45km but enough to make me sweat. Sometimes I'll go through Bicutan, if I want a short one, I'll just go to Sucat and go straight ahead to Alabang. The road is quite busy, there are many motorbikes and cars but there are bike lanes that you can count on, but of course, I am still careful especially when I am on the main thoroughfare. It's just a simple ride, just a pedal to relieve stress, and get away from sitting in front of the computer for a long time. When I got home and was a bit tired and sweaty, I felt better.
